What are the benefits to my supported business?

The Google Guaranteed badge of trust is provided only after your business has been certified by Google. You have to have insurance and you have to have a valid license to do business in your industry. You also have to pass a background check.

If your business is approved by Google and backed by the Google Guarantee, and your new customers who found you through Google Guaranteed aren’t satisfied with your work, Google may refund the customer the amount paid for your service. The upper limits of lifetime coverage for claims in the United States are $2,000, and in Canada CAD $2,000. Look into the Google Guarantee program for the fine print on what is not covered. That’s quite the benefit to the customer, and provides them with their own guarantee of performance making doing business with you easier!

The first section of the SERP gets most of the clicks on the page. Add license and insurance details

After Google has approved your business as “Google Guaranteed,” a green checkmark Google Guaranteed badge will appear next to your company name on top of the SERP (see picture above).
